Black Bean Burgers with Sweet Potato Fries and Corn on the Cob
Tips for Experienced Cooks
Experiment with different spices and herbs in the black bean burger mixture to tailor it to your taste. Consider adding a touch of smoked paprika or even some chipotle pepper for a smoky kick. For the corn on the cob, after grilling, brush with a mix of melted butter, garlic, and chili powder for an extra burst of flavor.
Step 1: Prepare Sweet Potato Fries
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and cut sweet potatoes into 1/2-inch thick fries. Toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and slightly browned.
